An array of BISG committees, interest groups and task forces provide an ongoing platform for the advancement of industry issues and standards.

These groups are actively managed by BISG members and meet regularly (usually on a bi-monthly basis).

BISAC stands for Book Industry Standards and Communications. It constitutes the main standards forum of the Book Industry Study Group and is driven by a variety of sub-committees. These sub-committees provide a place for BISG members to develop and maintain technology and eCommerce standards while staying on top of the latest industry trends.
