The ISBN-13 Task Force was created as a forum for senior level book publishing executives from all segments of the supply chain to gather and investigate best working practices with regards to the ISBN-13 transition.

The group’s purpose is to consider and combat potential problems and explore options for easing operational and logistical issues that will arise due to this industry-wide product identification transition.
