Until last year, Michael Holdsworth was Managing Director, EMEA, at Cambridge University Press's Cambridge office, responsible for about 70% of Cambridge's global publishing and 50% of its sales. In addition, he had wide-ranging responsibilities for change and new technology issues at the Press, with particular interests in content and rights management, production workflows, online and eBook developments and services, industry standards and the supply chain. After Cambridge, he continues to work with businesses on the digital aspects of the industry that most interest him.

 Mr. Holdsworth is Chairman of Book Industry Communication (BIC) in the UK, and of EDItEUR's ONIX International Steering Committee, a member of the UKBA's Digital Task Force, and a Special Adviser to Ingram.
