Wendell Lotz
VP of Product Database Development, Ingram Book Group

Wendell Lotz joined Ingram in December 1995 after 23 years with Baker & Taylor. His current position is Vice President, Product Database Development where he is responsible for creating, maintaining and administering the Ingram bibliographic database and its MARC database. The bibliographic database underlies iPage, companion, and provides data files to a number of online websites throughout the world in the metadata suite marketed as contents@ingram. At B&T, Mr. Lotz had similar responsibilities and was responsible for the development of the database and products now known as Title Source II.

In the standards world, Mr. Lotz serves as Chair of BISAC General Committee. He also serves as Vice Chair, EDItEUR, and is one of two U.S. representatives on the ONIX International Steering Committee.
