Nicole Poindexter

Vice President of Strategic Planning, Hachette Book Group USA

 

Nicole Poindexter is Vice President of Strategic Planning for Hachette Book Group USA, a leading trade publisher in the US and division of Hachette Livre the third largest publisher in the world. Hachette Book Group is home to a wide range of best selling authors including James Patterson, Nicholas Sparks, Malcolm Gladwell, Stephanie Meyer, and Joyce Meyer.

 

Nicole Poindexter has worked for Hachette Book Group for two years. She started her career in investment banking. After attending Harvard Business School, she worked as a management consultant with Monitor Consulting Group and as a Director of Corporate Development for Juno Online Services. Immediately prior to working at Hachette Book Group, Nicole worked in the Mayor's Office of the City of New York and was responsible for economic development in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx.

 

In her current role, Nicole Poindexter focuses on developing new business opportunities for Hachette Book Group. Additionally, her group is responsible for developing the business requirements for the proprietary systems that we develop to support these new business opportunities. Ms. Poindexter also serves on the Executive Management Board as well as Hachette Livre's International Digital Media Board.
