John Rubin

Founder and CEO, Above the Treeline, LLC

John Rubin is the founder and CEO of Above the Treeline LLC, the leading provider of collaboration-based business intelligence tools for the publishing industry. The son of an Independent bookseller, John founded Above the Treeline in 2002 to improve the analytical tools at the disposal of booksellers and their supplier partners. Before starting Above the Treeline, he spent nearly 10 years as a management consultant for A.T. Kearney, a global consultancy. John’s focus was primarily on operational efficiency improvement and business process reengineering and his clients included FedEx, General Motors and Nabisco. John has an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA from Harvard University.
