Jean Srnecz
Vice President of Merchandising, Baker & Taylor

Jean Srnecz is Senior VP of Merchandising for Baker & Taylor.  As such, she is responsible for all buying and inventory management activities including: Children’s, General Interest Adult, Academic, Professional, Higher Ed, Mass Market, and Audio.  She is also responsible for Publisher Services, Publisher Sales Reporting, Inventory Analysis, Publisher Relations, and Advertising (space sales) in B&T publications.  She joined B&T in 1975 as a Children’s Book Buyer after spending 3 years in retail.

Ms. Srnecz holds a BA in History from D’Youville College, an MA in Political Science from SUNY at Buffalo and an MBA in Finance from New York Univeristy.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Book Industry Study Group (BISG) and the Educational Paperback Association (EPA Board).
