Boris Wertz

Dr. Boris Wertz is one of the founders of JustBooks, the German company
that Abebooks acquired in fall 2001. At JustBooks, Mr. Wertz was responsible for
Marketing, Business Development and IT as well as the international expansion of
the company into the UK and France. In 2002, Mr. Wertz joined the team at Abebooks
headquarters in Victoria as Vice President, Marketing & Business Development,
and was promoted to COO in 2003.
Before starting up JustBooks, Mr. Wertz successfully finished his PhD as well as
his Masters studies at the Graduate School of Management (WHU), Koblenz,
majoring in Business Economics / Business Management. He also holds a degree
in business administration from the Ecole de Management in Lyon (France).
