Robert M. Wharton holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Temple University. He is a Professor at the Fordham University Graduate School of Business, Chairman of the Management Department and a Senior Researcher for the Institute for Publishing Research. His work is primarily in the area of Financial Forecasting. He has published numerous journal articles in the fields of theoretical statistics and the publishing industry. Currently, Mr. Wharton is collaborating on a book entitled The Commerce and Culture of Publishing which should be published this year by Stanford University Press.
