For ONIX Version 2.1 

The Product Metadata Best Practices document is the result of several months work on the part of BISAC's Metadata Committee. The committee members who worked on drafting and reviewing this document represented publishers, wholesalers, booksellers, bibliographic data providers, trade associates and libraries. The final guidelines for each data point covered in this document were approved by a consensus of Committee members.
