BISAC stands for Book Industry Standards and Communications. It is the main standards setting forum of BISG and is driven by a variety of sub-committees.
BISAC General is a forum for discussing the latest BISG and industry developments. Recent meetings have featured reports on digital rights, the current state of identifiers, and new EDI transactional messages, along with a rundown of current BISAC and BISG Committee activities and initiatives. If you're a member and haven't attended in awhile, we hope you'll join your fellow BISG members for this bi-monthly discussion of critical business concerns.
