Patricia Payton is responsible for communicating metadata requirements and best practices to publishers of all sizes. Ms. Payton has experience in retail bookstores as well as international markets. She holds a Master's degree in Library Information Science specializing in Digital Libraries. She actively contributes to BISG and other industry committees.
Richard RobertsSenior Product Operations Manager, OCLC
Richard Roberts has worked in the library services industry for more than 20 years. In his current role, he works with publishers, materials vendors, and data aggregators for OCLC's Contract Cataloging for Publishers service and with a wide variety of libraries and other institutions for whom OCLC provides cataloging and record-delivery services through their Contract Cataloging for Libraries service. Mr. Roberts and his team analyze and process a variety of metadata for physical and electronic materials to create bibliographic cataloging in WorldCat, with a focus on ensuring the most efficient, accurate, and comprehensive processing possible using a combination of automation creation and workflow and process refinement.
