PROGRAM
Agile development, an iterative way of organizing work built on flexibility, customer feedback, and results, has been the de facto method of developing software for years. Now, agile principles are being applied to publishing. From developing new digital products to reengineering the entire production workflow, agile is revolutionizing the way books get made and sold.
Responding to this development, the Book Industry Study Group hosted an executive-level Agile Content Development Summit.
In this intimate, exclusive event, thinkers and practitioners on the cutting edge of contemporary publishing presented information on how companies can approach agile content development. They then facilitated a discussion among all attendees on the opportunities and challenges presented by agile.
