Sales Reporting Working Group

The EDI Committee Sales & Tax Reporting Working Group is concerned with the ongoing development and maintenance of a common set of best practice sales reporting elements for both p-books and e-books and both agency and wholesale models.
The Working Group is chaired by Francis Cave of EDItEUR.
This meeting will kick off a revision cycle to the existing Sales & Tax Reporting Templates. Some of the possible revisions we'll be looking at include:
- use of zip code + four for US transactions
- refining field definitions as needed
- tighter constraints on string lengths and value ranges where practical
- accommodation for newer business models, specifically library subscription sales and textbook rentals
