BISG's Identification Committee monitors, reviews and develops best practices for the use of identifier standards in the book industry. It also contributes to the development of emerging identifier standards and the implementation of new ones.
During our meeting on the 20th, we'll be kicking off a new initiative for the Identification Committee: an exploration into the definition and business drivers behind the implementation of a work-level identifier.
