Published: November 4, 2010

And including, for the first time, a mapping between the BIC Subject Categories and BISAC Subject Headings

The BISAC Subject Headings, 2010 Edition and BIC-to-BISAC mapping were approved at the September 2010 BISG Board of Directors Meeting. The updated BISAC Subject Headings List is now available on the BISG website at:

For organizations that require a way to incorporate the BISAC Subject Headings into their internal systems and databases, in addition to the free online lookup, a licensed version (including Word, Excel and PDF formats of the List, plus an Excel version of BIC-to-BISAC mapping) is available for purchase at:
http://www.bisg.org/publications/product.php?p=14&c=43

All current BISG members are entitled to receive a FREE copy of the licensed version as part of their membership dues and can email the BISG office to request a copy.
