Speakers Announced for 6th Annual Making Information Pay Conference

6th annual event will focus on shifting sales channels and what publishers are doing about them


New York, NY (April 9, 2009) -- How to cope with shrinking markets and where to find the money to invest in digital marketing are just two of the topics to be covered at the Book Industry Study Group's (BISG) sixth annual Making Information Pay Conference, to be held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the McGraw-Hill Auditorium in New York City. This widely respected half-day event will elaborate on the major themes explored in BISG's 2009 Making Information Pay Survey -- Shifting Sales Channels and What Publishers Are Doing about Them -- and feature the first ever joint presentation between BookScan and R. Book industry trading conditions have never been tougher and many traditional sales channels are shrinking or disappearing completely.
