Shelby E. Jenkins, M.A. has dedicated the entirety of her publication career to the American Psychological Association (APA). For 15 years, she has played a major role in the development of APA Journals and now APA Books as the Director of Book and Journal Production. In APA Journals, Shelby played a major role in the modernization of the article tracking system and she has negotiated several journal vendor contracts that saved APA over 1.4 million in her first 3 years in management. And with her move into Book Production, she has worked to expand printing options with the adoption of Print on Demand, which can have both cost savings and a positive impact on the environment and book revenue.
