Cybersecurity for the Publishing Supply Chain

Join this session to learn more about cybersecurity in book publishing, including better practice, areas of risk, and steps you can take to protect your organization against attacks and malicious activity. Led by Metacomet CEO David Marlin, the session will offer practical advice, accompanied by opportunities to contribute your own experiences in building secure cyber operations in your organization.

David co-founded MetaComet Systems in February 2000. While helping businesses solve their rights and royalties challenges, David is committed to enhancing the technological capabilities of the publishing world. Metacomet was recently certified as SOC compliant, a process he shared earlier this year in a BISG webinar. Through his work as the founding co-chairman of BISG' Digital Sales Reporting Committee, and subsequent service as co-chair of the BISG Rights Committee, David advanced the industry's understanding of the power of well-designed technology applications. He is a regular speaker and contributor to industry events. David earned both his MBA and BA from Columbia University in New York.
