Green Book Alliance at Frankfurt Book Fair 2026
Join GBA for their annual workshop in Frankfurt.
The Green Book Alliance welcomes publishing supply chain participants with an interest in sustainability to convene to discuss next steps in our collective work of considering how to collect and report meaningful data related to sustainability in the book industry.
Building on momentum following gatherings in Frankfurt in 2024 and 2025, and the 2026 release of GBA's Book Carbon Calculator, we want to know: what's next?
- How does the industry respond to regulatory and customer demands across the supply chain as it relates to sustainability?
- How can industry collaborators inspire change and grow carbon literacy?
- How can tools like the GBA's Book Carbon Calculator support these and emerging needs?

The Green Book Alliance is an alliance between the Book Industry Study Group (BISG), Book Industry Communication (BIC), and BookNet Canada (BNC) committed to improving sustainability in the book publishing supply chain. The alliance focuses on information sharing, joint planning, environmental events, and other initiatives.
GBA welcomes support from other international bodies that may be interested in contributing. The GBA grows its agenda in concert with its members and national book communities.
