The International Standard Name Identifier (ISNI) provides a means of uniquely identifying the contributors of media content, including not only books, but also newspaper articles, music and other media. ISNIs provide the means of disambiguating writers and content creators with the same name and providing a means to track all output from a single creator, across different publishers and even industries.

In this 30-minute webinar, Tim Devenport, executive director of ISNI will provide a brief overview of the standard and show how U.S. publishers can make use of the standard in their workflows.
