CLARE HODDER has over 25-years of rights management experience in the publishing industry across academic, professional, and trade publishing. She has worked both in-house and as a consultant, advising on rights matters for publishers of all sizes, from global publishing giants to small indie presses, as well as industry organizations and service providers.

Clare runs the Rights 2 Consultancy practice and is Co-Founder and Director of the RightsZone software solution. She also runs Rights2gether – the global networking group for rights professionals which she set up in 2017. Clare currently sits on the rights groups of Publishers Licensing Services in the UK and Book Industry Study Group in the U.S. She regularly blogs on issues of interest to rights professionals, guest lectures on publishing courses, runs training sessions, speaks at industry events, and mentors new entrants to the industry.
