The BISG Metadata Best Practices Working Group meets monthly via Zoom and reports to BISG’s Metadata Committee. Led by Pat Payton of Clarivate, the group is currently updating BISG's Best Practices for Product Metadata guide and expects to publish the new edition in mid-2026.
If you have specific topics or ideas you’d like to discuss during the meeting, feel free to share them in advance - we welcome your input! An agenda and meeting materials will be distributed prior to the meeting
