Subject Codes Committee Meeting
Monthly meeting of the BISG Subject Codes Committee (registration required)
The BISG Subject Codes Committee meets monthly via Zoom. Chaired by Connie Harbison, the committee maintains the BISAC Subject Codes, Merchandising Themes, and Regional Themes. The committee also provides guidance on the implementation and use of subject codes, including Thema, by publishers, retailers, and other interested parties in the US.
If you have specific topics or ideas you’d like to discuss during the meeting, feel free to share them in advance. We welcome your feedback! If you would like to request a new BISAC code, please do so using our BISAC suggestion form. If you have multiple codes to suggest, please e-mail info@bisg.org.
Registration for both committee members and guests is required for attendance. An agenda and meeting materials will be distributed via e-mail prior to the session.
Registration is required in order to receive the Zoom meeting details and is restricted to current members of the committee; please sign up to attend.
