Sustainability Working Group Meeting
Meeting of the Sustainability Working Group (registration required)
The BISG Sustainability Working Group meets every other month via Zoom. Reporting to the BISG Supply Chain Committee, the working group is focused on gathering information on—and fostering best practices around—sustainability in the book industry. The working group has two main initiatives:
- In collaboration with the Green Book Alliance, supporting the creation of a carbon calculator tool
- In collaboration with Ooligan Press and Portland State University, supporting the development of a guide to sustainable book production practices
If you have specific topics or ideas you’d like to discuss during the meeting, feel free to share them in advance - we welcome your input! An agenda and meeting materials will be distributed prior to the meeting

Participation is open to both BISG members and nonmembers, but advance registration is required for meeting attendance.
