This 30-minute webinar will help new users and nonmembers know where to go to find what they need on the BISG web site. If you want to understand what BISG is, what we offer, and how to find the information and tools you need, this webinar is for you.

BISG is the U.S. book industry's leading trade association—known for publishing the BISAC Subject Codes and offering content, best practices, and standards that support a more effective and connected supply chain—and many of our resources are free and open to the public.

This session will include a live demo of our website and its key features, along with time for Q&A. Whether you work for a publisher, manufacturer, distributor, retailer, librarian, or industry partner, if you're curious about how BISG works, this is a friendly and fast-paced introduction to what’s available and how to access it.

In this 30-minute webinar, the BISG team will show you how to:

  • Navigate BISAC on our website to find the right subject codes for your titles
  • See what our committees and working groups are up to
  • Create a user profile to track your activity and receive relevant updates
  • Find and register for events—and view or manage your upcoming registrations
