Today, WoodWing offers a comprehensive suite of solutions that digitally transform publishing, knowledge and document management, and content creation processes across all sectors. With these solutions, WoodWing empowers organizations to reclaim control of their publishing, document, digital asset, and quality management processes.
Reflecting on the company’s decision to join BISG, Dan Pugliese, Senior Enterprise Sales Executive at WoodWing, said: “As the leading provider of content workflow solutions, WoodWing has been looking for a partner to help us expand in the book business. BISG, the only trade association with a standing committee dedicated to workflow topics, is the perfect fit for our needs.”
BISG executive director Brian O’Leary echoed that theme: “As a trade organization, we have a long history sorting through issues related to metadata, rights, subject codes, and the supply chain. Our addition of a standing committee to consider workflow issues in 2019 closed the loop on issues related to content management, accessibility, and multi-format publishing. We’re looking forward to building on WoodWing’s capabilities to further strengthen our work in this area.”
WoodWing’s mission is to liberate organizations from content and information inefficiencies by aligning people, processes, and technology to achieve optimal workflows, automation, and control. From digital asset management and multichannel publishing solutions that enable exceptional content creation at scale, to our latest offerings focused on centralizing, securing, sharing, and leveraging documents and processes internally, we provide a range of solutions.
In addition, WoodWing offers professional services such as system management, workflow optimization, software integration consultancy, and outsourced publishing and design services.
With over 200 employees worldwide, headquarters in the Netherlands, offices in the US and Malaysia, commercial staff in LATAM, and a global partner network of over 100 partners, WoodWing continues to experience sustained growth. Its partners support customers in more than sixty countries worldwide. WoodWing is a private limited company (BV) committed to driving the success of organizations globally.
The Book Industry Study Group (BISG) is a membership organization made up of a diverse slate of publishers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, libraries, retailers, and industry partners. They are unified by the value they receive in joining and engaging with our committees, where work gets done that improves the industry. In BISG’s committees, relationships get built and good ideas are surfaced, solving problems that affect two or more parts of the industry. BISG’s five core practice areas include metadata, rights, supply chain, subject codes (BISAC), and workflow.
