We are profoundly thankful for our members, whose engagement and support fuel every initiative we undertake.

To our committee chairs and working group leads, your leadership shapes the standards, best practices, and innovations that strengthen the publishing supply chain.

To the many committee and working group members representing every corner of the industry—from publishers and librarians to printers, distributors, agents, and technology partners—your contributions ensure that BISG remains a collaborative, solutions-driven community.

And to the hundreds of attendees who participated in our events, webinars, and trainings this year: thank you for showing up, sharing your expertise, and helping drive our work forward.

Your dedication makes BISG stronger, and as we head into our 50th anniversary year, we are especially buoyed by the unity and support that define this community. We are grateful to be part of the book publishing industry—today and for the future we continue building together.

During this season of reflection and appreciation, we’re reminded that gratitude often inspires action—and there is no better moment to extend that spirit of generosity. As we celebrate the people who strengthen BISG, we also have an opportunity to uplift authors, empower readers, and stand united in defending the freedom to read.

With that spirit in mind, we invite you to join us in supporting We Are Stronger Than Censorship.

BISG has launched a $16,000 Season of Giving Challenge to fund the purchase and donation of 2,000 books. These are stories that have been banned or challenged in communities across the United States—stories readers deserve to access freely and without barriers.

Every contribution—large or small—helps amplify voices that deserve to be heard. Because when we give the gift of reading, we give the gift of understanding, empathy, and strength.
